- Extended Life: Modern OAT formulation allows coolant service intervals to be extended long beyond those of conventional antifreeze – up to 1,000,000 miles.
- Freeze Protection: Quality virgin ethylene glycol delivers freeze protection for the entire cooling system, all the way down to extremely low subzero temperatures.
- Reduced Boilover: Boiling point elevation offers an additional buffer of higher temperature operation when the cooling system is being challenged.
- Corrosion Protection: Modern Organic Acid Technology (non-2EHA) provides outstanding corrosion protection for all wetted surfaces. Premixed with the ideal water chemistry to prevent scale.
- Pitting Prevention: Effective OAT chemistry with supplementary nitrite halts the implosion mechanism that causes diesel liner pitting.
- Improved Heat Transfer: The absence of silicate allows better heat transfer to and from metal surfaces, as compared to conventional antifreeze.
- Easier Maintenance: Taking care of the antifreeze is simpler since regular addition of Supplementary Coolant Additives (SCAs) is not necessary.
